PART D COSTS COMPARED IN CHART FORM 2010/2009/2008/2007/2006

Updated June 24, 2010

We hope these are easier to understand than the bizarre charts on some other sites. We have tried to produce "Plain-English" charts that clearly reveal your true costs under Part D.

These charts assume that your plan follows the standard Medicare Part "D" Model. You may select a plan with higher or lower premiums that change some of these terms.

Important Note: Part D monthly premiums range from approximately $0 to over $165.70. Coverage will vary based on the premium charged. You need to carefully review the details of each company offering coverage in your state between November 15 and December 31 every year. Go to  Part D Plan Finder and enter your unique information, to see which premium and plan is best for your situation and medications. The charts below show the basic guidelines.  Extra-Help programs are available based on financial need.  Check at this  website.  Your drugs may cost as little as NOTHING.
